350 people have been killed so far by Cyclone Freddy, which has ravaged Africa

Malawi: Seasonal Cyclone Freddy has hit the East African country of Malawi, causing severe damage in the southern part.

Malawi’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Climate Change issued a statement saying, ‘There will be heavy flooding in southern Malawi. Widespread damage was caused by Cyclone Freddy yesterday.

The death toll from the seasonal Cyclone Freddy that ravaged Africa has exceeded 350 and hundreds are missing, with the situation worsening in southern Malawi, with many areas flooded and roads and bridges cut off.

Electricity supply has been cut off in many places and people have been affected.
