Flipkart, the Walmart-owned e-commerce platform, confirmed on Sunday that the base variant of the iPhone 12 will be available at an effective price of Rs 32,999 during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale, scheduled to commence on October 8.
During the sale, the base variant of the iPhone 12 with 64 GB of internal storage will be listed for Rs 38,999. When combined with the bank discount of Rs 3,000 and an additional exchange value of Rs 3,000, this will bring down the price of the iPhone 12 to just Rs 32,999.
At the effective asking price, the iPhone 12 offers a compelling package. However, do note that the base model still offers 64 GB of internal storage, which could be a bit less for most users in 2023. Other than that, it has everything that one might seek from a modern flagship smartphone, including 5G connectivity, IP68 rating, wireless charging, great performance, excellent dual-camera system with support for 4K 60fps video recording in Dolby Vision format, it even runs on the latest iOS 17 and is also eligible for at least two more major iOS updates.
At this price, the iPhone 12 becomes one of the more affordable 5G smartphones from Apple. However, please note that Apple has officially discounted the iPhone 12 post-iPhone 15 launch, and the iPhone 12 is also banned in select markets like France due to higher electromagnetic radiation emissions. Similarly, the iPhone SE 3rd Gen with the more powerful A15 Bionic chip has also received a price cut on Flipkart and is now available for Rs 32,699.
Besides the iPhone 12, other models like the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus are also expected to receive massive price cuts during the Big Billion Days. Flipkart has also introduced an option to book a slot for the iPhone 14 for Rs 1,999, which will give early access and assured stock to the customers.
Please note that this is a non-refundable process, and users who book a slot have to make a purchase or will lose the booking amount. If you are looking for an iPhone 13 deal, check out Amazon, which has confirmed to offer the iPhone 13 for less than Rs 40,000 during the Great Indian Festival.
