New Hyundai Tucson SUV launched with ADAS technology, know what will be new

South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched its fourth generation Tucson SUV in India. The car has been given a head-turning look and many latest features have been added to the cabin. It is placed above the Alcazar in Hyundai’s India line-up. As a new feature, Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) has been included in it. At the same time, the company has brought this SUV with the option of 2.0-liter petrol and diesel engines.

How is the design of the new Tucson?

Talking about the design of the new generation Tucson , it has been given a muscular hood, chrome grille, sleek LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs) and wide air dam. Roof rails, aero-cut design, ORVMs and 18-inch alloy wheels have been given on the sides of the car. The shark-fin antenna, window wipers and wrap-around LED taillamps are available at the rear of the SUV, which give it a very attractive look. Its wheelbase in terms of dimensions is 2,755 mm.

The vehicle has come in the option of petrol and diesel engines

In India, it will be brought in the option of petrol and diesel engines. It has the first BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine, which generates 150hp power and 192.2Nm peak torque. Second, it will also get the option of a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which generates power of 182.4hp and peak torque of 400Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox, taking care of the transmission.

Car’s cabin is equipped with these features

The new Hyundai Tucson gets a large 5-seater cabin with a sunroof, 2-zone climate control, parking sensors, Advanced Driving Assessment System (ADAS), keyless entry, multifunctional steering wheel with USB charger and cruise control has gone. It also gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For the safety of the passengers, features like dual front airbags, ISOFIX point, seatbelt pre-tensioner and seat belt reminder have been provided in the car.

What is the price of this car?

The new Hyundai Tucson has been launched in the Indian market for Rs 27.69 lakh. Its booking was started only last month and in just 15 days, 3,000 units of this car have been booked.
