In a recent social media post, PM Modi conveyed his best wishes, emphasizing that the entire nation of 140 crore Indians is rallying behind the team.

In his message on X platform, PM Modi stated, “All the best Team India! 140 crore Indians are cheering for you. May you shine bright, play well, and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.”

As the excitement builds for the World Cup final to be held at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, wishes have been pouring in from various quarters. Political leaders, celebrities, and citizens from across the country are expressing their support for Team India, with cricket enthusiasts even visiting temples to seek blessings for the team’s victory over Australia in the ultimate title clash.

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, in a video message on Saturday, lauded the team for its remarkable performance and teamwork throughout the World Cup. She extended her congratulations and best wishes, highlighting how the sport has consistently served as a unifying force in the country, transcending barriers of gender, region, language, religion, and class.
