The Indian trio achieved an exceptional score of 1769, surpassing the previous world record set by the USA in Peru just last year by an impressive eight points. China secured the silver medal with a score of 1763, while the Republic of Korea clinched the bronze with a score of 1748.
Swapnil Kusale and Aishwarya Tomar emerged as the shining stars of the qualification event, both notching up identical scores of 591.
