Dates and Puja Muhurat for Pongal 2024: Pongal 2024 is scheduled to be celebrated from January 15 to January 18, marking four days of festive fervor. Each day holds unique significance:

  • Bhogi Pongal (January 15): Dedicated to Lord Indra, the god of rain and fertility.
  • Thai Pongal (January 16): Considered the most important day, celebrating the harvest.
  • Mattu Pongal (January 17): Honoring cows, considered sacred in Hindu mythology.
