Chennai: Popular comedian Mayilsamy passed away due to ill health. He is 57 years old.
Actor Mayilsamy passed away
Tamil film comedy actor Mayilsamy (57) lived with his family in Saligram next to Virugampakkam, Chennai. Before acting in comedy roles, he was famous for his voice acting and mimicking in various voices in various stage shows. He rose to prominence as a comedian in Tamil films.
Actor Mayilsamy is famous for playing comedy characters in more than a hundred films in Tamil cinema. She made her film debut in 1984 with Pakyaraj’s Davanik Kannom. He has also hosted programs on television. His native place is Sathyamangalam. During the 2021 Legislative Assembly elections, he contested as an independent from the Virugambakkam constituency in Chennai.
The doctors said that he died last night when his relatives took him to the hospital after he fell ill.
Mayilsamy has acted as a host in television shows and as a comedian in films and character roles.
He has acted in more than 100 films including Dhool, Gilli, Devathaiyai Kanden, Veeram, Thiruvilayadal Arambam.
He was born on 2nd October 1965 in Sathyamangalam, Erode district.

Actor Mayilsamy , who came to Chennai in 1980, used to play small roles. Since then he has acted with famous actors like Vijay, Vikram and other leading actors.
In this situation, Mayilsamy , who was living in Saligramam, Chennai, fell ill last night.
He was then taken to Ramachandra Hospital in Borur. The doctors who examined him then declared him dead.
