In anticipation of the scheduled ‘Farmers Delhi Chalo Protest’ on February 13, 2024, multiple farmer associations, after a meeting with the Centre, have issued a travel advisory for passengers using Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).
Despite the meeting, no concrete decisions have been reached, and the protest is expected to proceed. The farmers are set to travel from Haryana to Delhi, prompting the imposition of restrictions, including border sealing, Section 144, and traffic advisories within the states of Haryana and Delhi.
Besides the traffic advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, another advisory has been released by the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in the national capital specifically for all passengers.
This travel advisory provides essential details for individuals planning to travel during this period of heightened activity related to the farmers’ protest. For the comprehensive information, refer to the official advisory issued by the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
