Cyclone Michaung Impact: Chennai and Adjacent Districts to Close Schools and Govt Offices Tomorrow

Amidst the impact of Cyclone Michaung, the Tamil Nadu government has taken precautionary measures. Schools, colleges, and government offices in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, and Chengalpattu districts are to remain closed on December 5 due to the impending cyclone.

The latest updates on Cyclone Michaung reveal significant disruptions. Chennai airport suspended all flight operations until 11 pm today due to adverse weather conditions. Nearly 70 flights were canceled as a result of continuous rainfall, leading to waterlogging on the runway and tarmac, affecting normal operations.
