In a disturbing incident at a private school in Indore, a Class 4 student faced a shocking assault from three classmates who allegedly attacked him 108 times with a geometry compass during a fight. The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) is investigating the incident, and the victim’s father has raised concerns about the violent behavior of young children.
CWC chairperson Pallavi Porwal expressed shock over the case and emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind such violent actions among children. The committee will also provide counseling to the children involved and their families. Additionally, they will explore whether the children are exposed to video games with violent content.
The victim’s father reported that his son suffered puncture wounds during the attack, which occurred at the school on November 24. Despite being administered first aid at the hospital, the father is seeking answers from the school management, who has not provided CCTV footage of the classroom.
A complaint has been filed with the Aerodrome police station, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Vivek Singh Chauhan confirmed that all children involved are below 10 years of age. Legal measures are being taken to address the situation. The incident raises concerns about the safety and well-being of students in school environments.
