Bengaluru, the bustling hub of corporate activities, is implementing new traffic rules in specific areas, with a focus on the vicinity near the KLM Fashion Mall.
This update from the Bengaluru Traffic Police aims to streamline traffic flow and reduce congestion, providing relief to the city’s residents. Stay informed with the latest changes.
New Traffic Rules Around KLM Fashion Mall: Bengaluru Traffic Police has introduced new regulations for the area near the KLM Fashion Mall in Marathahalli. The key adjustment specifies that vehicles heading towards Kundalahalli on the Outer Ring Road’s service road are prohibited from making right turns. Instead, drivers are directed to take a left turn at the Marathahalli Bridge and execute a U-turn at the Tulasi Junction to reach Varthur Kodi and Kundalahalli.
Trial Closure Points at Sumadhura Nandan Junction: In a trial initiative to alleviate congestion caused by simultaneous turns, three points within 100 meters of the Sumadhura Nandan Junction have been temporarily closed. Commuters aiming to access Graphite India Road must take a left turn at the junction from Garudacharpalya.
Additional guidelines include:
- For those coming from Ayyappa Nagar, the option for a free right turn or a left turn towards Graphite India is available at the Sumadhura Junction.
- Travelers heading to Garudacharpalya from ITPL can make a right turn from in front of Bhagini Residency Icon Express. If the destination is Graphite India, a straight path is recommended.
These strategic adjustments are designed to enhance traffic management and create a smoother commuting experience for Bengaluru residents. Stay updated with the latest traffic rules to ensure a hassle-free journey.
