Vivo has recently introduced the Vivo Y100 5G in Indonesia, marking a significant expansion in its global presence. This cutting-edge smartphone is creating ripples in various markets, promising users an immersive and high-performance mobile experience.

At the heart of the device is a striking 6.67-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1,200 nits of brightness. The sleek design offers users the choice between a plastic or leather back, catering to diverse preferences. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, delivering seamless performance along with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Users can also expand storage via the microSD card slot.

The camera setup on the Vivo Y100 5G is equally impressive, featuring a triple-rear configuration with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a dedicated flicker sensor. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the 8MP front camera. The device houses a robust 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and the device runs on Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14. The Vivo Y100 5G is available in two storage variants: 8GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at IDR 3,899,000 (~Rs 20,470; ~$245), and the 8GB+256GB model priced at IDR 4,199,000 (~Rs 22,050; ~$265). Users can choose between two elegant color options: black onyx and purple orchid.

Vivo is committed to meeting diverse market needs, evident in the global availability of the Y100 5G in different variants. The Indian model (V2239) is powered by the Dimensity 900, the Chinese variant (V2313) utilizes the Snapdragon 695, while the Indonesian model (V2327) employs the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. The smartphone is already making waves in China with a starting price of 1,399 Yuan.
