Unveiling the Power-Packed iQoo 12: A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Marvel Set to Hit Indian Markets on December 12

The iQoo 12, featuring the cutting-edge 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, made its global debut on November 7, with the lineup comprising the iQoo 12 and the premium iQoo 12 Pro model. Exciting news for Indian tech enthusiasts, as the base iQoo 12 is slated to hit the Indian market on December 12, available for purchase on Amazon. The phone arrives in enticing Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version colors, the latter drawing inspiration from BMW Motorsport aesthetics.

To gear up for the imminent launch, a dedicated microsite for the iQoo 12 is now live on Amazon’s India site, confirming its availability on the popular e-commerce platform. In China, pricing details reveal the 12GB + 256GB variant at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000), the 16GB + 512GB model at CNY 4,299 (around Rs. 50,000), and the top-tier 16GB + 1TB variant at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 53,000).

Boasting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution (1,260×2,800 pixels), the iQoo 12 promises an immersive experience with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9, complemented by HDR10+ support. Powering the device is the formidable octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 750 GPU, and it runs on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4.

In the imaging department, the iQoo 12 features a robust triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch primary sensor, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of 100X digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel sensor equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, users can capture stunning selfies with the 16-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone doesn’t compromise on power, housing a substantial 5,000mAh battery, with the convenience of 120W fast charging support. Security is seamlessly integrated with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Compact and lightweight, the iQoo 12 weighs in at 203 grams and measures 163.22mm x 75.88mm x 8.10mm.
