The Samsung Galaxy A05s made its debut in India in October of this year, following in the footsteps of the Galaxy A04s released in October 2022. The Galaxy A05s marks a significant step up from its predecessor, boasting a Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. Initially, it was launched in a single RAM + storage configuration, but Samsung has recently introduced a more budget-friendly variant.

Samsung Galaxy A05s Price and Availability in India

The Galaxy A05s was originally released in India with a lone 6GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs. 14,999. However, Samsung has now expanded its lineup to include a more affordable 4GB + 128GB variant, available online for Rs. 13,999. Color options for the phone include Black, Light Green, and Light Violet.

You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy A05s through Samsung’s exclusive stores, retail outlets, the official Samsung India website, and various e-commerce platforms. Samsung is also offering a cashback of Rs. 1,000 to customers making payments using SBI credit cards, and there are EMI options starting at Rs. 1,150 per month through Samsung Finance+, NBFC, and other banks.

Samsung Galaxy A05s Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy A05s features a spacious 6.7-inch full-HD+ PLS LCD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It comes with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 right out of the box. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

On the camera front, the Galaxy A05s boasts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 13-megapixel front camera housed in a centrally-aligned waterdrop notch at the top of the display.

The phone is equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack and measures 168mm x 77.8mm x 8.8mm in size, weighing 194 grams.
