The iQOO 12 series is generating excitement as it gears up for its launch in China this November. The lineup, consisting of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro, is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. With teasers already appearing on the Weibo social media platform, the company is whetting the appetites of tech enthusiasts. In this article, we’ll explore the design teasers and expected specifications of these exciting new models.

iQOO 12 Series Design

The iQOO 12 series comes in two captivating options: the iQOO 12 Pro White Legend Edition and the iQOO 12 Black Race Edition. The Black Race Edition exudes elegance with slightly curved edges and a departure from the typical flat design. The frame showcases a sleek greyish hue, providing a dual-tone aesthetic. Notably, 5G antenna lines adorn the frame, and the phone features a distinctive boxy design. On the right edge, the volume rocker is easily accessible, and a large square module houses the camera sensors, promising excellent photography capabilities.

On the other hand, the iQOO 12 Pro boasts curved edges and a glossy finish on the back panel. A prominent square camera module accommodates triple camera sensors, accompanied by an LED flash. Notably, there’s a 100x zoom test etched within the module. The silver-colored frame adds a touch of sophistication, and speaker vents grace the top of the device. Both models proudly display the BWM Motorsport branding.

iQOO 12 Series Specifications (Expected)


  • iQOO 12 is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a likely punch-hole cutout.
  • The iQOO 12 Pro will sport the same 6.78-inch display but with a 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED panel, curved edges, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2700 nits, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.


The iQOO 12 series is expected to be driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, complemented by an Adreno GPU.


These flagship phones are rumored to offer 12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology.

Operating System:

Out of the box, these phones will run on Android 14 with Origin OS 4.0 custom skin.


  • The standard iQOO 12 may feature a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and a 64MP OV64B telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
  • The iQOO 12 Pro is anticipated to sport a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary snapper with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto camera, providing 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

Both models are expected to offer a 16MP front camera for high-quality selfies and video chats.

The phones may include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Hi-Res audio, stereo speakers, and possibly an IP rating for water and dust resistance.


The iQOO 12 series is likely to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support for super-fast 120W charging.
