Price Comparison:

Both phones, priced competitively under Rs. 30,000, cater to the mid-range segment. The Realme 12 Pro comes in two variants, with the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage at Rs. 25,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at Rs. 26,999. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro starts at the same base price but offers a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant for Rs. 28,999, providing a compelling value proposition.

Design and Display:

Realme 12 Pro takes the lead in design aesthetics with its vegan leather finish and luxury watch-inspired camera module. However, the Poco X6 Pro boasts a superior display featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED flat panel with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a high brightness mode of 1,200 nits. The Poco X6 Pro’s display outshines the Realme 12 Pro, making it a crucial factor for display enthusiasts.

Performance and Software:

Realme 12 Pro features a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, offering a smooth performance for daily tasks. Poco X6 Pro, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, impresses with its superior performance, scoring almost double on AnTuTu. Both devices run on Android 14-based UIs, but Poco X6 Pro stands out with its additional years of software and security updates.

Realme 12 Pro and Poco X6 Pro both offer triple rear camera setups, but the Poco X6 Pro’s 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS and impressive low-light performance sets it apart. While Realme 12 Pro excels in the telephoto department, Poco X6 Pro offers a more versatile camera setup overall, especially in lowlight scenarios. The front cameras, however, perform similarly at 16-megapixels.

Both phones pack a 5,000mAh battery and come with a 67W fast charger. Realme 12 Pro manages to charge from 10 to 100 percent in around 43 minutes, while Poco X6 Pro takes about 47 minutes to charge from 6 to 100 percent. The difference is marginal, making the battery performance a tie between the two.
