In Greater Noida, the opulent mansion that once graced the screen as Rocky Randhawa’s residence in Karan Johar’s “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” has become the site of a tragic occurrence. The sprawling property, known as Randhawa Paradise and situated in Sector 1, Noida Extension, Greater Noida, has been engulfed in a grim turn of events.
During a wedding celebration at the Gaur Mulberry Farmhouse in Greater Noida West, a 55-year-old man named Ashok Yadav was fatally shot by his son’s father-in-law, Shekhar, as reported by the police. Ashok Yadav, a resident of Sector 51, Noida, and the president of the residents’ welfare association for Sector 51 Block H, was tragically killed in the incident that took place on Monday night.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Suniti, the altercation arose from the ongoing divorce proceedings between Ashok’s son and Shekhar’s daughter, leading to a confrontation resulting in Ashok’s tragic demise. Shekhar allegedly used a licensed revolver during the altercation, shooting Ashok twice in the head before fleeing the scene.
While the mansion was a prominent location in the film released on July 28, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the current incident has cast a dark shadow on its once-glamorous façade. The property, previously featured in the film as Rocky’s lavish abode, now stands as a somber reminder of a tragic event.
