Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have struck gold at the box office with their latest offering, “Tiger 3,” turning it into a massive Diwali blockbuster. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film has raked in an impressive total of Rs 187.65 crore in just five days, captivating audiences with its high-octane action sequences featuring tanks, choppers, guns, and ballistic missile bazookas.

As the third installment in the “Tiger” franchise and the fifth film in the YRF spy universe, “Tiger 3” has not only lived up to but exceeded the expectations of Salman Khan’s devoted fan base, who are lauding the film’s action-packed entertainment.
From its spectacular opening day on Sunday, where “Tiger 3” soared to Rs 44.5 crore, the film continued its triumphant journey, earning Rs 59.25 crore on Monday and Rs 44.3 crore on Tuesday.
Despite a slight dip in numbers on Wednesday, with earnings of Rs 21.1 crore, and a further decline on Thursday to Rs 18.50 crore, the film has firmly secured its place as a box office heavyweight with a cumulative total of Rs 187.65 crore in just five days.
Director Maneesh Sharma shed light on the film’s ambitious approach, stating, “When we were making this film, we had one thing in mind – scale.
We have used an array of tanks, choppers, guns, ballistic missile bazookas, and a multitude of bullets in a single action sequence. While reveling in this bombastic Tiger moment, we aimed to incorporate weapons used by elite armies worldwide, making it both grand and authentic.”
Sharma continued, “We wanted to create action sequences that people can’t stop talking about. When you see what Salman Khan, aka Tiger, is up against, I think you’ll understand just how high our ambitions were for the action!”
“Tiger 3” marks the fifth film from the YRF spy universe, seamlessly continuing the narrative after the successes of “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017), “War” (2019), and the upcoming “Pathaan” (2023).
