The grand event, which took place on November 19 (according to IST), witnessed the historic moment when Sheynnis Palacios became the first Nicaraguan woman to clinch the coveted Miss Universe title. The crowning took place on stage, with Miss Universe 2022 – USA’s R’Bonney Gabriel doing the honors as the enthusiastic crowd applauded the deserving winner.
