The much-anticipated International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is set to kick off in Goa from November 20 to November 28, promising nine days of cinematic brilliance. Adding glamour to the opening ceremony, Bollywood stalwarts Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit are slated to headline the event.

The star-studded affair will not only feature the dynamic duo of Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit but will also showcase the presence of other luminaries from the entertainment industry. Celebrities such as Shriya Saran, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Pankaj Tripathi, and musical maestros like Shreya Ghoshal and Sukhwinder Singh will grace the festival with their esteemed presence.
Expressing her excitement, Madhuri Dixit remarked, “Cinema has given me so much, it’s time to give something back in return. What better way to do so than through song and dance, which is integral to not just Indian cinema, but Indian culture as well?”
Shahid Kapoor, known for his captivating performances, is set to enthral the audience with his medley. He shared, “Performing in front of a live audience is something I’ve truly loved ever since I can remember. Thanks to IFFI, I get to do that one more time in Goa.”
In addition to the opening ceremony, reports suggest that the closing ceremony will feature music composer Amit Trivedi and actor Aparshakti Khurana taking the center stage.
Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, expressed his thoughts on IFFI Goa 2023, stating, “IFFI has been growing every year thanks to the passion of our filmmakers from across the country and the collaboration that we have been able to forge with the directors and producers from across the world.”
