As Shah Rukh Khan celebrated 31 years in Bollywood, he engaged in an AskSRK session, reflecting on his journey and personal life.

Marking the completion of his 31-year Bollywood career since his debut in “Deewana” in 1992, Shah Rukh Khan spontaneously held an AskSRK session for his fans on Sunday. During the session, he fielded questions about his films, upcoming movie “Jawan,” handling negativity, and even his smoking habit.

The actor shared, “Wow, I just realized it’s been 31 years since ‘Deewana’ hit the screens. It’s been quite a ride, mostly a good one. Thanks, all! Can we do 31 minutes of #AskSRK?” In “Deewana,” Shah Rukh starred alongside Rishi Kapoor and the late Divya Bharti. When asked about his unforgettable memories from the film’s set, he replied, “Working with Divyaji and Rajji.” He also commented on his iconic entry scene in the movie where he was seen riding motorcycles with his friends. In response to someone’s question about how he feels watching that epic entry after 31 years, he humorously replied, “Should have worn a helmet.”

Shah Rukh expressed that his favorite part of being an actor is stepping into the shoes of another character and bringing their dreams to life. During the session, he also responded to a woman who expressed her intention to name her twin babies Pathaan and Jawan, saying, “Sir, I am pregnant with twin babies… wish me luck. I will name them Pathaan and Jawan ❤️.” Shah Rukh advised, “All the best, but please choose better names!!”

Another question raised the topic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the US, where he was greeted with chants of “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” a song from Shah Rukh’s film “Dil Se.” When asked about his thoughts on this, Shah Rukh jokingly replied, “Wish I was there to dance to it… but I guess they wouldn’t allow a train inside??!!!”

When asked about his proudest moment in his career, Shah Rukh expressed that it was “being able to entertain lots of people lots of times. That’s it.” He also shared his priorities when asked for a motivational line, stating, “Focus hard on work… love family even harder!”

Fans can look forward to Shah Rukh’s upcoming film “Jawan,” set to release on September 7 this year. Directed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Additionally, he has Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki” in the pipeline.
