In a shocking turn of events, filmmaker Sanjay Gadhvi, renowned for helming blockbuster hits like Dhoom and Dhoom 2, passed away at the age of 56 at his Mumbai residence.

His daughter, Sanjina Gadhvi, confirmed the news to Media, revealing that the filmmaker, who was on the verge of celebrating his 57th birthday in just three days, had suddenly and unexpectedly left the world.
Sanjina shared with the media, “He passed away at 9.30 am this morning at his residence. We are not sure what it is, but it is most likely a heart attack.
He wasn’t unwell, he was perfectly healthy.” Sanjay Gadhvi leaves behind his wife Gina and two daughters, with Sanjina being the elder one.
Sanjay Gadhvi made his directorial debut in 2000 with the film Tere Liye and went on to create a significant impact in the film industry with his work under the Yash Raj Films banner. His directorial prowess was evident in the success of Dhoom, Dhoom 2, and the 2002 film Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.
Beyond the Dhoom series, he directed various films, including Kidnap (2008), Ajab Gazabb Love (2012), and Operation Parindey (2020).
