Much-anticipated wedding of Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh and producer-actor Jackky Bhagnani, scheduled for February 21 in Goa, will not be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai.

Contrary to earlier reports suggesting a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai, The couple has opted for an intimate wedding in Goa, attended only by close friends and family. Dismissing speculations of extended celebrations, a source shared, “It looks like it is going to be a 3-4 day affair like most weddings usually are.”
The decision to choose Goa over an overseas destination comes after initial plans for a destination wedding in the Middle East were altered. Reportedly, the couple reconsidered their choice in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent call for influential families to host significant life events in India.
As Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani embark on this new chapter, it’s worth noting their professional commitments. Rakul is set to feature in Indian 2, while Jackky is producing the eagerly awaited film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Manushi Chhillar. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on Eid 2024.
