Actress Bhairavi Vaidya, renowned for her role in the beloved series “Nima Denzongpa,” passed away at the age of 67, leaving a void in the hearts of her co-stars and fans. Bhairavi had been courageously battling cancer for the past several months, and her peaceful passing has left her close colleagues, Nishi Saxena and Surabhi Das, deeply saddened.

As news of Bhairavi Vaidya’s demise on October 8 surfaced, the entertainment industry mourned the loss of a talented actress who had touched many lives. While her passing marks the end of her earthly journey, her memories live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Bhairavi Vaidya’s Battle with Cancer

Bhairavi Vaidya’s battle with cancer was a tough and private journey. During the past 6-7 months, she valiantly fought the disease, displaying remarkable strength in the face of adversity. Her colleagues, Nishi Saxena and Surabhi Das, remember her as not just a co-star but also a dear friend, making her passing all the more poignant.

Nishi Saxena’s Fond Reminiscences

Nishi Saxena, who currently portrays Dimpy in the popular show “Anupamaa,” shared a deep bond with Bhairavi. In the series “Nima Denzongpa,” Bhairavi portrayed Nishi’s grandmother, and this on-screen connection evolved into a cherished off-screen friendship. Nishi’s memories of Bhairavi are filled with laughter, shared cab rides to the set in Naigaon, and the joy of encountering each other at Tiwari Ji’s in Juhu and other favorite spots.

In a heartfelt tribute to her late co-star, Nishi expressed, “Bhairaviji was very close to me. It was such a shock when I came to know that she was not in this world anymore. She played my dadi in my last show Nima Denzongpa. I remember how we used to book the same cab for Naigaon. Our shoot was there, and we used to travel together. We had so much fun in the cab rides, we used to also meet at Tiwari Jis in Juhu and other spots. It feels like yesterday that I went to her home in Ganpati, and now she is not here with us. I just pray wherever she is, she is happy, and may her soul rest in peace. Yes, it is still a shock, and we are still processing it.”

Surabhi Das Shares Her Grief

Surabhi Das, who portrayed Nima Denzongpa in the series and worked alongside Bhairavi Vaidya after the show’s leap, expressed her profound sorrow upon learning about Bhairavi’s passing. She fondly reminisced about the delightful moments they shared on set, emphasizing the wonderful time they had together.

Surabhi Das said, “I’m really saddened to hear about the demise of our beloved Bhairavi Ji. May her soul rest in peace. We had a lovely time shooting with her, I still remember all the happy moments we shared on set. My prayers for the family.”

Bhairavi Vaidya may have left this world, but her enduring impact on her colleagues and the entertainment industry remains. She is remembered not only for her remarkable acting talent but also for the warmth and joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
