“After Prabhas & Nayanthara, Mohanlal Joins Epic Film ‘Kannappa’ in a Surprising Cameo Role”
Vishnu Manchu’s highly-anticipated project, “Kannappa,” is making waves in the industry with its ambitious vision and star-studded cast. While Rebel Star Prabhas and Lady Superstar Nayanthara take on the roles of Shiva and Parvati, the film has now added another surprise to its ensemble.
The legendary actor, Mohanlal, will make a cameo appearance in “Kannappa,” adding an element of suspense to the narrative. The details of his role are being closely guarded, heightening anticipation for the film.
Produced by Manchu Mohan Babu, Vishnu’s father, under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, “Kannappa” is set to meet international standards. The film is helmed by director Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the acclaimed Mahabharata series on Star Plus TV.
The script for “Kannappa” has been crafted by renowned writers Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad. Music for the film will be composed by the talented duo Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi.
While Nupur Sanon was initially rumored to play the female lead and even attended the film’s inauguration ceremony in Srikalahasti, Vishnu Manchu clarified via a tweet that she would not be part of the project due to scheduling conflicts. The search for the female lead is still ongoing, adding to the intrigue surrounding this epic production.
