Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, along with his wife, Shabana Raza, has made a significant investment in Mumbai’s bustling real estate market. The couple has poured ₹31 crore into a commercial real estate project located in the thriving Andheri suburb, following in the footsteps of other Bollywood celebrities.

This noteworthy investment was reported by Housing.com and Floortap.com, with information later confirmed by The Economic Times (ET). The couple’s investment is spread across four office units situated on the 12th floor of the prestigious Signature building in Oshiwara.

Developed by Veer Savarkar Projects, this project offers spacious office units, with each measuring approximately 1,905 square feet. The individual cost for these units stands at ₹7.77 crore. Additionally, Bajpayee and his wife paid a stamp duty of ₹1.86 crore to complete this substantial transaction.

Notably, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan also made headlines when he acquired four office spaces covering nearly 8,400 square feet within the same Oshiwara-based commercial project back in September. His investment amounted to approximately ₹29 crore, and the office units were located on the 21st floor of the building.

In recent months, this commercial project has become a hotspot for Bollywood celebrities seeking prime real estate. Ajay Devgan and Kajol, for instance, have both secured office spaces in this tower. Kajol acquired a space measuring close to 2,100 square feet in July, with a purchase cost of ₹7.64 crore. Ajay Devgan, on the other hand, made a substantial investment of ₹45 crore in April, acquiring five office properties spanning 13,293 square feet on the 16th and 17th floors.

Joining this star-studded real estate investment spree, Kartik Aryan purchased an office space covering nearly 2,100 square feet for ₹10 crore. Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh also entered the scene with a joint investment of ₹9 crore in an office space of similar size.

These investments by Bollywood celebrities underscore the booming real estate market in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb, making it a prime destination for high-profile property acquisitions. With several renowned names joining the trend, it’s clear that commercial real estate in the city remains an attractive investment opportunity for both celebrities and investors alike.
