If you were captivated by Kim Soo-hyun’s performance in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” get ready for his upcoming K-drama, “Queen of Tears.” Penned by renowned writer Park Ji-eun of “Crash Landing on You” and “Producer” fame, this series explores the romantic journey of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) and Baek Hyun-woo (Soo-hyun) as they navigate through a marital crisis.

Scheduled to premiere on tvN on March 16, “Queen of Tears” marks Kim Soo-hyun’s return to the screen after a three-year hiatus, adding to the anticipation surrounding the drama. With an illustrious career adorned with four Baeksang Arts Awards, two Grand Bell Awards, and a Blue Dragon Film Award, Kim’s acting prowess is undeniable.

In this upcoming drama, Kim portrays Baek, the legal director of Queens Group, and husband to Hong, a chaebol heiress. Despite his accomplished life, Baek grapples with a hidden secret that threatens the seemingly flawless facade. As the couple approaches their third wedding anniversary, unexpected challenges emerge, testing their relationship.

The plot revolves around Baek’s determination to nurture his marriage amidst pressures from in-laws and the delicate balance between professional and personal life. The series also features lead actors Park Sung-hoon, Kwak Dong-yeon, Lee Joo-bin, and Na Young-hee in pivotal roles.
