Renowned singer Honey Singh has officially obtained a divorce from his wife, Shalini Talwar, following an extensive legal battle that included allegations of domestic violence.

The Principal Judge (Family Court) Paramjeet Singh at Saket Court granted a decree of divorce after the couple reached a mutual settlement, putting an end to their marital disputes.
The marriage between Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar, which began in January 2011, came to a mutual dissolution in September 2022, marking the culmination of a 13-year union.
The divorce was finalized after an alimony of ₹ one crore was agreed upon and Shalini Talwar withdrew her domestic violence case against the singer.
In a significant development during the court proceedings, Honey Singh, in response to a question from the judge, expressed that there was no possibility of reconciliation with his wife.

The divorce decree was granted after the second motion, as confirmed by Advocate Ishan Mukherjee, who represented Honey Singh. Mukherjee, respecting the privacy of the matter, declined to disclose further details, acknowledging the sensitive nature of matrimonial disputes.
