Excitement looms as the Telangana government green-lights midnight shows in 23 theaters for the film’s first week, with a staggering six screenings kicking off as early as 4:00 am. However, prepare to dig a little deeper into your pockets, as ticket prices have soared to Rs. 250 for single-screen theaters and Rs. 410 for multiplexes.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, this marks the third collaboration between Srinivas and Babu after the successful ventures Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010). Touted as a mass entertainer, Guntur Kaaram boasts a star-studded cast, including Jagapathi Babu, Sreeleela, Jayaram, Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and Easwari Rao in pivotal roles. Produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner, the film is anticipated to be a blockbuster.

In a stellar prelude to its release, Guntur Kaaram has amassed a whopping Rs. 1.62 crore in advance bookings, with over 72,000 tickets already sold in the domestic market. The numbers hint at a potentially record-breaking debut for this thrilling action-packed ride, promising an emotional twist.

As the Pongal/Makar Sankranti weekend unfolds with a lineup of diverse releases, the South Indian cinema gears up for a promising 2024. Notable contenders in this cinematic race include Ayalaan, Hanu-Man, Captain Miller, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga, promising an intense box office battle whose winner will only be unveiled with time.
