Dipika Kakar, who previously participated in the eighth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2015, is excited to relive her unfulfilled journey on the dance reality show through her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, who is currently a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.

As the show premiered on November 11, Dipika couldn’t contain her excitement and shared her happiness for Shoaib’s participation. She expressed her admiration for her husband and remembered her brief stint on JDJ8.

Shoaib, in a vlog, revealed, “It was always my dream to do this show at least once in my life. When I entered the industry, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa premiered in 2005 or 2006, I would dream of participating in the show. Now, after completing 14 years in the industry and accomplishing some significant roles, this is like a dream come true for me. And now I have to fulfill her (Dipika’s) wish.”

Dipika reflected on her journey in 2015, saying, “Though we never spoke about it, something feels like a dream remained unfulfilled. At that point in my career, I was working on a fairly popular show. It was the number 1 show on the channel, and I eagerly embarked on my journey with Jhalak. I love dancing, and I was looking forward to that experience. But when I was the first eliminated contestant, something inside me broke. People might say I was part of a popular show, but it doesn’t work that way. Something was left unfulfilled because I did it from the heart.”

She added, “Usually, you get to participate in Jhalak once in your life. But somehow, I got that opportunity through Shoaib’s participation, and I get to relive that journey again. I hope and pray that he brings home the trophy. I am very excited. Back then, I was stressed, and this time, the stress is on him. I am genuinely happy and encouraged him to enjoy every moment of this journey.”
