BTS Icons Jimin and Jungkook Triumph in Military Training, Set to Embark on Active Service with a Special Connection

BTS sensations, Jimin and Jungkook, have successfully concluded their military training, graduating as accomplished trainees and gearing up for active duty. Their impending service at the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, starting on January 18, aligns them with fellow member Jin, who holds the role of an assistant instructor at the same prestigious center.

Having completed their military training at the esteemed 5th Division Recruit Training Center, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are poised to embrace their roles as active service members.

Their journey, set to commence on January 18, takes a unique turn as they join forces with Jin, contributing to the collective BTS presence within the 5th Infantry Division. While the trio shares the same division, the specifics of Jungkook, Jimin, and Jin’s responsibilities may differ based on their individual assignments within the unit.

The synchronized enlistment of Jimin and Jungkook on December 12, utilizing the companion system, paved the way for their training at the 5th Division Recruit Training Center. As they transition from trainees to active-duty personnel, the prospect of serving alongside Jin introduces a distinctive element to their military journey, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences within the BTS brotherhood. RM and V embarked on their military service journey at the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province on December 11. Recently completing their recruit training, the duo stood out at a military graduation ceremony on January 16, recognized as two of only six elite graduate trainees for their exceptional performance. Videos circulating online captured the moment they received awards, showcasing their excellence in the military domain.

In the meantime, Jin is on track to complete his service in June this year. J-Hope initiated his military service in April 2022, while SUGA is currently fulfilling the role of a social worker. The group has plans to reunite for full-fledged activities in 2025, marking the eagerly anticipated return of the complete BTS ensemble to the entertainment scene.
