Celebrating his 55th birthday on January 27, Bobby Deol gave fans a special treat by revealing the first look of his upcoming Tamil film, “Kanguva.” The intense poster showcased Bobby in a ruthless avatar, exuding power with untidy hair and a necklace of bones adorned with blood marks. The actor’s stern expression amidst a crowd created a visually striking impact.
This Tamil venture marks Bobby Deol’s debut in the industry and his first collaboration with Superstar Suriya. On his birthday, Bobby shared his positive experiences working with Suriya, praising the lead star’s humility and down-to-earth nature.
According to Bobby, “Working with Suriya, who was so humble and down to earth, itna kamaal ka actor haina woh, stunts khud karta hai and just loved being on that set.”
Expressing his nervousness about his upcoming projects, particularly after the success of “Animal” featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby emphasized the importance of hard work, focus, and humility in the entertainment industry.
He stated, “I am very nervous right now about what I will do next because I don’t understand what I did in Animal that I’m getting so much love. Definitely, I will never give up, hard work is very essential for every person, every actor, whether they are getting work or not. They all need to work hard, be focused and be humble.”
Apart from Suriya and Bobby, “Kanguva” features Disha Patani in a pivotal role and is written and directed by Siva. Devi Sri Prasad, known for his enchanting melodies in Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa,” is set to handle the music for the film.
Following the success of “Animal,” Bobby Deol is set to make a mark in the South film industry with multiple projects. In addition to his Tamil debut, he is gearing up for his entry into Tollywood with Balakrishna’s upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK 109. Rumors also suggest his potential involvement in Pawan Kalyan’s period drama, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” where he might portray the character of Aurangzeb.
