In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande, along with her husband Vicky Jain, has been grabbing attention by candidly discussing her past relationship and helping fellow housemates. Ankita, known for her role in Pavitra Rishta, shared insights into her breakup with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, with whom she was in a relationship for six years.
Ankita and Sushant’s love story began when they met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta in 2009. Their relationship lasted for six years, capturing the hearts of many fans during their time together.
During a conversation with housemate Munawar Faruqui in the garden area, Ankita revealed that her breakup with Sushant was abrupt and left her feeling isolated. She expressed her confusion and said, “Tab toh koi nahi tha na mere sath. Woh phase maine akele guzara maine. Tab logonay kyun nahi kaha ki aapko Ankita ke sath rehna chahiye. Kaha thay log. Maine toh woh phase akele guzara na.” (During that phase, I was all alone. I faced it all by myself. Why didn’t people come out and say that he [Sushant Singh Rajput] should have stayed with me? No one was there for me. I faced it all by myself).

When asked if there was a specific reason for the breakup, Ankita clarified that there was no specific cause behind it. She described the situation as unexplained, saying, “There was no reason. And I was blank. Ek raat main cheezein palat gayi thi.” (One night, things changed suddenly).
Ankita continued to share that Sushant’s sudden disappearance was a puzzling aspect of their breakup. She mentioned that he achieved success, and people were influencing him. However, Ankita emphasized that she never tried to stop him, saying, “But it’s okay. It was his call. I didn’t say much.”
Ankita made it clear that there were no conflicts or differences between her and Sushant before their breakup. This revelation provides a glimpse into the complexity of their relationship and the challenges she faced during that time.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise occurred on June 14, 2020, when he was found dead in his Mumbai apartment. Ankita Lokhande had paid a visit to his family a day after his funeral, showing her support during the difficult period.
