Gayatri Joshi, well-known for her role in the Bollywood film ‘Swades,’ and her husband, businessman Vikas Oberoi, recently survived a harrowing car accident while vacationing in Italy. The unfortunate collision led to the tragic demise of two individuals.
The couple was driving their Lamborghini during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, a luxury car parade from Teulada to Olbia in Sardinia, Italy. Tragedy struck when their Lamborghini collided with a Ferrari and a camper van, resulting in a devastating accident that claimed the lives of the occupants in the Ferrari.
Reports indicate that both luxury vehicles were attempting to overtake a large campervan on the road, leading to the fatal collision. The camper van also overturned during the incident, while the Ferrari caught fire.
Gayatri Joshi shared her account of the incident with the Free Press Journal, stating, ‘Vikas and I are in Italy, and we were involved in an accident here—a multiple-car collision. Thankfully, with God’s grace, we both emerged unscathed.’ According to Vikas Oberoi’s manager, the couple is reportedly in stable condition.

The unfortunate victims who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Markus Krautli (67) and his wife Melissa Krautli (63), hailing from Zurich, Switzerland.
