UGC NET December 2023 – NTA Unveils Cut-Off Marks and Result Download Procedures

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially disclosed the subject-wise cut-off marks for the Union Grant Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) 2023, shedding light on the academic accomplishments of an impressive 6,95,928 candidates. Results are accessible on the official websites at nta.ac.in and ugcnet.ntaonline.in.

It’s crucial to note that candidates securing a minimum of 40 per cent are deemed qualified, with a reduced qualifying threshold of 35 per cent applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

Alongside the results, NTA has revealed the cutoff percentiles for Professor and Assistant Professor/JRF across various categories and subjects. Successful candidates are expected to receive their certificates from NTA shortly.

After the result announcement, eligible candidates must undergo eligibility criteria verification, self-declaration, and document submission as outlined in the UGC – NET December 2023 Information Bulletin. NTA’s role is limited to test conduct, result declaration, and forwarding results to relevant authorities.

Candidates facing issues in downloading their marks can seek assistance through the NTA helpline at 011 40759000/69227700.

For result download from the NTA website:

  1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the result link.
  3. Enter application number and date of birth.
  4. Download UGC NET December Score Card 2023.
  5. Print UGC NET December Result 2023 for future reference.

Alternatively, the result is accessible through the UMANG app:

  1. Visit umang.gov.in or download the app.
  2. Sign up and navigate to ‘NTA UGC NET.’
  3. Select UGC NET Dec Exam 2023.
  4. Enter Name and Roll Number.
  5. Download the mark sheet.

For download through DigiLocker:

  1. Register on Digilocker.
  2. Select ‘Get More Now/Get Issued Documents.’
  3. Choose UGC NET December Exam 2023.
  4. Select the mark sheet or certificate.
  5. Provide Roll Number and proceed to download the UGC NET Certificate.

The results, presented in raw scores and percentiles, offer a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ performance. Percentiles are calculated based on total raw scores, ensuring fairness and accuracy.
