JEE Main 2024 Registration: Dates, Official Website, and Top Non-IIT Engineering Colleges

The highly anticipated Joint Entrance Examination-Main 2024 (JEE Main 2024) is on the horizon, with registration dates and essential information being unveiled. JEE Main 2024 is the third-largest entrance examination in India, granting access to a range of engineering programs, including BTech, BArch, and BPlanning. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that JEE Main 2024 will take place in two sessions: one in January and another in April.

Registration and Examination Dates

  • January Session: The JEE Main January 2024 session is scheduled to occur from January 24 to February 1.
  • April Session: The April session will take place from April 1 to 15.

The NTA has a track record of hosting the JEE Main registration form on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. While the registration process for the previous year’s IIT JEE Main started on December 15, candidates had until January 12 to complete it. For the JEE Main 2024 registration date, applicants are advised to monitor the official website for updates. The NTA will provide comprehensive details, including eligibility criteria, application fees, and exam center information alongside the registration date for JEE Main 2024.

Application Fees

  • Male candidates from the general, EWS, and OBC categories will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000.
  • Female candidates will have an application fee of Rs 800.
  • SC, ST, PwD, and transgender category candidates will be charged an application fee of Rs 500.

JEE Advanced 2024

Students aspiring to pursue BTech degrees at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) must clear the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, which follows the JEE Main 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main 2024 will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
