Essential Guidelines for NEET (UG) 2023 Registration Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued crucial guidelines for aspiring students undertaking the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses.

Currently, registrations are underway for NEET (UG) 2023, with the process slated to conclude on March 9, 2024. To ensure a smooth application process, NTA has outlined a series of rules that candidates must diligently follow.

Key Points to Note During Registration:

  1. Complete only one application form meticulously, ensuring accurate entry of mobile number and email address.
  2. Requests for alterations in provided details or uploaded scanned images will not be entertained by NTA at any phase of the process, irrespective of the circumstances.
  3. Utilize only one mobile number and email address per application form.
  4. It’s mandatory to furnish the mobile number and email of a parent or guardian during the online application submission for NEET (UG) – 2023. This ensures that copies of the confirmation page and final scorecard are forwarded to them as well.
  5. Any tampering with the Admit Card, Result, or Scorecard will be deemed as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and will incur appropriate action, as delineated in the information bulletin regarding Unfair Means Practices.

Documentation Required for Completion of Application:

  • Scanned images of candidate’s recent passport-size photograph.
  • Postcard-size photograph.
  • Signature, left and right-hand fingerprints, and thumb impression.
  • Category certificate (if applicable).
  • Citizenship certificate (if applicable), PwBD certificate (wherever applicable), and Address proof (Present and Permanent Address).

The recent photograph submitted must be either in color or black and white, with at least 80% of the face (without a mask) visible against a white background.

By adhering to these guidelines, candidates can ensure a seamless registration process for NEET (UG) 2023, paving the way for their academic aspirations.
