CBSE Announces Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Schedule for 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the examination and application schedule for the 18th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The examination is set to take place on January 21, 2024, offering an opportunity for aspiring teachers to obtain their certification. Those interested can complete their registration on the official CTET website, with the application window closing on November 23, 2023. Applicants must also ensure their fees are submitted by November 23, 2023, before 11:59 pm.

This nationwide examination will be conducted in 135 cities across India, featuring a choice of 20 languages to accommodate candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

In an official statement, the CBSE has informed the public that a comprehensive information bulletin, including details about the examination, syllabus, eligible languages, criteria for eligibility, examination fees, examination centers, and key dates, will soon be available on the official CTET website. Prospective candidates are advised to download this information bulletin exclusively from the aforementioned website and carefully review its contents before submitting their applications.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) serves as the fundamental qualification required for individuals seeking teaching appointments from class 1 to 8. The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, administers this vital examination.
