Chennai: Tamil Nadu Class 12th General Examination Results will be released today (8th) at 9.30 am.
In Tamilnadu school curriculum, the general examination is conducted every year for classes 10, 11 and 12.
This year’s Class XII exams were held in 3,324 centers from March 13 to April 3.
8 lakh 36,593 school students, 23,747 special candidates, 5,206 differently abled, 6 third gender, 90 jail inmates registered a total of 8.65 lakh people to write the exam.
Out of them only 8.17 lakh students appeared for the exam. More than 48 thousand candidates did not participate due to various reasons. In Chennai alone, 42,000 people wrote the exam in 180 centers.
The editing of answer sheets was held in 79 centers from 10th to 21st April. About 50 thousand senior teachers were involved in this work.
Other tasks including uploading of marks on the website were also completed.
In this case, the examination department had planned to publish the results of class 12 on May 5. Later, in view of the NEET exam, the result release was postponed to May 8.
Accordingly, the results of the Plus 2 public examination will be announced by the Minister of School Education,Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, at Anna Centenary Library Complex, Kotturpuram, Chennai today (8th) at 9.30 am.
Information has been received that more than 92 percent of the students have passed the Plus 2 examination this year. The results of the Guppu public examination are published at 9.30 am.
8.17 Lakh people including special candidates, differently abled and school students wrote the public examination held from March 13 to April 3 across the state. It has been informed that the students can check the results on www.tnresults.nic.in www.dge.tn.gov.in www.dge1.tn.nic.in.
