HDFC Bank, PowerGrid, Kotak Mahindra Bank, State Bank of India, and Adani Enterprises Set to Receive Passive Inflows Due to NSE Index Changes NSE indices are scheduled to undergo changes, impacting several stocks, including those in Nifty Bank, Nifty, Nifty Next 50, and CPSE.
These weight adjustments are slated to take effect from September 29, following the planned alterations on September 28 as part of the semi-annual reshuffling. According to Nuvama Institutional Equities, HDFC Bank is expected to receive the highest inflow of $70 million.
Other notable stocks include Power Grid with approximately $64 million in inflows, Shriram Finance ($59 million), Trent ($54 million), TVS Motor ($40 million), and PNB ($21 million). Adani Enterprises is also poised to benefit from around a $27 million inflow.
Conversely, NTPC anticipates outflows of $45 million, followed by Page Industries ($28 million), HDFC AMC ($25 million), IndusInd Bank ($23 million), ACC ($19 million), Indus Tower ($14 million), and Adani Ports ($14 million).
