Infosys Unveils Performance Bonuses for Q2FY24: A Closer Look at the Reward System

Infosys, a leading IT major, is gearing up to distribute performance bonuses to its dedicated workforce for the July to September quarter, with credits expected in November. This incentive program, outlined in an email from the Infosys HR team, promises an average 80% payout.

However, it’s important to note that this payout is not universal, as it caters exclusively to ‘eligible’ employees, specifically those at position level 6 (PL6-manager) and below band.

The unique aspect of Infosys’ bonus distribution lies in its personalized approach. Rather than a blanket 80% payout, individual employees will receive bonuses based on their distinct contributions and performance metrics for the relevant quarter (Q2FY24). This tailored system ensures that each employee is rewarded according to their impact on the company’s success.

The email sent to Infosys employees expresses appreciation for their pivotal role in navigating the challenges of the business environment during Q2.

It highlights the company’s resilience and solid foundation for future market share expansions, crediting the workforce for their efforts.

Unit managers within Infosys will play a crucial role in finalizing the distribution of payouts for their respective units. This process, scheduled to take place this week, ensures transparency and fairness in acknowledging the eligible employees.

The bonus distribution aligns with Infosys’ annual appraisal cycle, which commenced in October. The cycle spans from October to September of the following financial year, with employee ratings revealed in January and pay rise letters released in June.

In conclusion, Infosys’ performance bonus distribution reflects a strategic and personalized approach, acknowledging the individual efforts of eligible employees.
