Royal Enfield took the spotlight at Motoverse 2023 with the grand unveiling of its latest addition to the 650 cc lineup, the Shotgun 650 motorcycle. This expansion of their lineup, which already includes popular models like the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor, signifies the brand’s commitment to innovation and diversity.
As reported by Media, the Shotgun 650 Motorverse Edition is a unique variant of the soon-to-be-released Shotgun 650. The exclusivity of this edition is heightened by the fact that access is limited to a fortunate 25 individuals who participated in the 2023 Motorverse event, chosen through a random draw.
Setting this edition apart is its distinctive color scheme, meticulously hand-painted to enhance exclusivity, reminiscent of the hand-done pin striping on the iconic Bullet 350. Adding to its allure, the engine casing features a glossy black finish, a first-of-its-kind design choice for Royal Enfield.
Priced at ₹4.25 lakh ex-showroom, the Shotgun 650 Motorverse Edition is set to hit the roads from January 2024, with deliveries commencing. This exclusive price tag includes select genuine accessories such as bar-end mirrors and LED turn indicators. Moreover, buyers will benefit from an extended warranty and RSA service, elevating the ownership experience.
Underneath its unique exterior, the Shotgun 650 Motorverse Edition shares its powerhouse with the Super Meteor 650. The 648 cc parallel-twin engine, equipped with a 270-degree crank and a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch, promises a thrilling ride. Royal Enfield, however, emphasizes their commitment to excellence by recalibrating the engine specifically for the Shotgun 650, considering its distinct wheel sizes and altered weight.
Excitingly, for enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the non-limited edition, Royal Enfield has officially confirmed the production-spec version will be available for purchase early next year. While the exact pricing details are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated to be more moderate, positioning it between the Continental GT 650 and the Super Meteor 650.
The Shotgun 650, in both its limited and general editions, stands as a testament to Royal Enfield’s dedication to delivering unique and high-performance motorcycles to its diverse audience.
