Renault India has recently unveiled its upgraded MY2024 lineup, showcasing the revamped Kwid hatchback, Kiger SUV, and Triber MPV. The 2024 Renault Kwid, in particular, steals the spotlight with not just its aesthetic enhancements but also an array of new features, promising a rejuvenated driving experience.
Pricing and Variants:
Priced attractively between Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 Renault Kwid has undergone a comprehensive facelift. Renault has not only introduced captivating design changes but has also restructured the pricing strategy, making the Kwid even more appealing. Notably, the Climber AMT variant now stands at Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a significant reduction from the pre-facelift model’s Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants like RXL (O) MT and RXT MT witness price reductions of Rs 21,000 and Rs 17,000, respectively, compared to their predecessors. The RXT AMT variant sees a substantial Rs 17,000 price cut, now available at Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Impressively, the base variant RXE MT maintains its affordability at Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2024 Renault Kwid introduces changes to its variant lineup. The RXL MT variant has been discontinued, while the RXL (O) AMT emerges as a new variant, offering affordability at Rs 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom) and claiming the title of the most affordable automatic car in India.
The exterior of the updated Kwid dazzles with three new dual-tone paint options – Moonlight Silver with Black, Zanskar Blue with Black, and Fiery Red with Black. These complement the existing choices, adding a touch of personalization to the driving experience.
The 2024 Renault Kwid not only captivates with its visual updates but also introduces new features. A major highlight is the inclusion of an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, available from the RXL (O) variant onward. This upgrade positions the Kwid as the most affordable car in India equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system.
On the safety front, the new Kwid hatchback prioritizes passenger security. A rear seat belt reminder is now standard across all variants. Additionally, safety features such as front seat belts with load limiter, driver seat belts with pretensioner, electronic stability programme, traction control system, tyre pressure monitoring system, front driver and passenger airbags, pedestrian protection, speed alert warning, ABS, EBD with brake assist, and rear door child lock are now included across the entire range.
The 2024 Renault Kwid stands as a symbol of Renault India’s commitment to providing an enhanced, stylish, and secure driving experience, setting new standards in the Indian automotive market.
