Ahead of the launch event, Hyundai has provided a glimpse of the revamped SUV, featuring distinctive India-specific design modifications, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, and a powerful 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine.

The exterior of the facelifted CRETA has been meticulously crafted to resonate with Indian preferences. While incorporating international design elements, the front styling boasts unique characteristics, including an upright nose adorned with chrome, brushed aluminum, and piano black finishes. The corners feature inverted L-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), complemented by an LED light bar above the grille. The connected-style taillamps mirror the consistent design theme at the rear.

Stepping inside, the dual 10.25-inch screens take center stage in the updated CRETA’s cabin, accompanied by dashboard and AC vent design enhancements. Premium upholstery, featuring new textures and materials, adds a touch of sophistication, varying based on the variant. The feature-packed interior includes dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, and a powered driver’s seat. Safety is prioritized with a Level-2 ADAS suite offering 19 functions, 360-degree-view cameras, and a blind spot monitoring system.

Under the hood, the facelifted CRETA will continue to offer the existing 115hp, 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines, upgraded last year to comply with new norms. These engines come with automatic and manual gearbox options. A new addition is the robust 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
