Mercedes-Benz is all set to unveil the prices for the revamped GLA and AMG GLE 53 coupe in India on January 31, marking the company’s inaugural launch event for 2024.
The new GLA, a luxurious five-seater SUV, receives its second generational update and is expected to be available in three versions: 200, 220d, and 220d 4MATIC. On the other hand, the AMG GLE 53 coupe will be offered in a single, feature-packed variant.
The 2024 version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA showcases a refreshed front grille, updated front and rear bumpers, a revamped MBUX interface, and new LED headlamps. It will offer a choice between a 1.3-liter petrol engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine, positioning itself as a formidable contender in the luxury SUV segment in India.
The AMG GLE 53 coupe (facelift) boasts a powerful 3.0-liter turbo-petrol engine combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering an impressive 429hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 560Nm. The transmission duties are handled by a 9-speed automatic gearbox, offering Indian buyers an exceptional blend of performance and luxury, competing directly with the BMW X5.
As for the pricing, the estimated cost of the new Mercedes-Benz GLA in India is expected to range between Rs. 50-55 lakh. Meanwhile, the 2024 AMG GLE 53 coupe is anticipated to be priced between Rs. 1.70 crore and Rs. 1.80 crore (all prices, ex-showroom).
