Jeep has unveiled the interior of its highly anticipated 2025 Wagoneer S, introducing a new era of luxury and cutting-edge technology to the electric SUV market. Building on the Range Rover-inspired exterior reveal, this sneak peek sets the bar high for the Wagoneer S’s debut in the US market.
Engineered on the versatile STLA-Large platform from Stellantis, renowned for its adaptability, the Wagoneer S offers a range of drivetrain options, including front-wheel drive (FWD), all-wheel drive (AWD), and rear-wheel drive (RWD). With flexibility in battery sizes, it provides a choice between an 85 kWh or a larger 118 kWh pack. Although the official range is yet to be confirmed, expectations lean towards the inclusion of the robust 118 kWh battery.
Stepping into the Wagoneer S reveals a digital marvel. The dashboard is dominated by four large screens, delivering a wealth of information and entertainment options for both the driver and passengers. Among these features are a substantial infotainment display, a dedicated screen for the co-driver, and another for controlling comfort settings such as climate and seat preferences.
The interior of the Wagoneer S is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. Notable details include a chic drive-selector knob and a terrain selector offering modes like Sand, Snow, Eco, Auto, and Sport. The sense of opulence is heightened by the dual-pane panoramic sunroof and the exclusive McIntosh 19-speaker audio system. An ambient light strip adds a touch of sophistication, enriching the overall interior ambiance.
In terms of performance, the Wagoneer S promises to leave a lasting impression. Jeep asserts a remarkable 600 horsepower output and an impressive acceleration time of 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. If these claims hold true, the Wagoneer S is poised to be one of the fastest electric SUVs in the market. With a scheduled fall 2024 launch, it aims to compete with established names such as the BMW iX and Rivian R1S, signaling a new era in the realm of electric luxury vehicles.
