Hyundai EXTER Faces Second Price Hike: Explore the Latest Pricing Details

Hyundai has recently announced a price increase across its entire lineup, impacting the popular EXTER sub-compact SUV. Following the adjustment, the Tata Punch-rival now begins at Rs. 6,12,800 (ex-showroom) with an increment of up to Rs. 12,910.

This marks the second price hike for the EXTER, the first occurring last October, elevating the car’s cost by up to Rs. 16,000. The current adjustment sees a uniform increase of Rs. 12,910 for petrol versions and Rs. 9,910 for the CNG models.

Beyond the pricing updates, the Hyundai EXTER continues to stand out with its distinctive ‘Parametric’ design elements, contributing to its modern and edgy appearance. Noteworthy features include bumper-mounted projector halogen headlamps, H-shaped LED DRLs, a gloss black grille, skid plates, and 15-inch designer dual-tone wheels.

Inside the cabin, the compact SUV offers a five-seater setup with fabric upholstery, a windscreen-mounted dashcam with dual cameras, a voice-enabled sunroof, ambient lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, and an 8.0-inch infotainment panel with wireless connectivity. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, and EBD.

Under the hood, the Hyundai EXTER is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, and buyers have the option of a company-fitted CNG kit. The engine delivers 82hp of power and 114Nm of peak torque in standard mode and 68hp/95.2Nm in CNG mode. Transmission options include a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox.
