Priced at an introductory Rs. 5.9 lakh (ex-showroom), this capable ADV promises an exciting blend of design, features, and performance.

Key Highlights:

  1. Distinctive Design and Features: The 2024 Honda NX500 boasts a striking rally bike-style front fairing, complemented by a large fuel tank and a robust rear end. The motorcycle features an attention-grabbing all-LED lighting setup, including a sleek headlamp and a slim taillamp unit. Riding on rugged-type alloy wheels with block pattern tires (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), the NX500 offers a visually appealing aesthetic.
  2. Advanced Technology and Safety Kit: Equipped with a 5.0-inch color TFT display, the bike comes with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation support, enhancing the rider’s experience. Safety is a top priority with switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS, along with disc brakes on both wheels.
  3. Powerful Engine Performance: The heart of the NX500 is a robust 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers an impressive 47.5hp of power at 8,600rpm and 43Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Coupled with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, this engine housed in a diamond frame ensures a dynamic and responsive ride.
  4. Suspension Expertise: Suspension duties are handled by a Showa-sourced Inverted Big Piston Separate Function Fork (SFF-BP) on the front and a link-type mono-shock unit at the rear with preload adjustment, promising a smooth and controlled ride.

Market Competition:

Priced competitively at Rs. 5.9 lakh, the NX500 enters the highly contested middleweight ADV segment in India. Going head-to-head with models like the Kawasaki Versys 650, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and KTM 390 Adventure, the NX500 stands out with its unique features and design. Notably, it closely competes with the Benelli TRK 502, which is priced at Rs. 5.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
