The vehicle is slated to hit the Chinese market under the name Yuan Up later this year, but the question on everyone’s mind is whether it will make its way to the Indian market.

Rumors are circulating about a possible release in India, but BYD is yet to disclose any details regarding its plans for the Indian market. As the company continues to keep enthusiasts guessing, anticipation is building among Indian consumers.

While the European market is also in the sights of the Atto 2, with a projected sale in the upcoming year, BYD is yet to provide concrete confirmation. The estimated cost for the compact electric vehicle in the European market is around 30,000 GBP, approximately Rs 31 lakh.

Positioned a step below the tech-laden Atto 3, the all-new Atto 2 boasts development on BYD’s cutting-edge third-gen electric platform 3.0. This platform ensures enhanced safety features and improved performance within its segment, with dimensions measuring 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height.

Despite BYD keeping specifications and power figures under wraps, preliminary reports suggest that the Atto 2 may feature a single electric motor at the front, generating power within the range of 94 BHP to 174 BHP.
